Wye Valley Walk

While Luce and Tom have spent the week with Daddy-Sarah, we have done 60 miles of the Wye Valley Walk - 5 days, 2 of them pouring incessantly, 3 quite good. Lots of aching limbs, wet clothes, beer and good food. Now please hurry home kids.....

Surprise party - pictures to follow...

On the eve of my birthday and my darling daughter, Lucy, in cahoots with Auntie Wen has organised a surprise party for me - surprising on two levels - firstly because I didn't know about it, and secondly because it's not even on my birthday! How special and how damn clever of her to keep it a secret. Unfortunately I have temporarily mislaid my camera after a bank holiday weekend in West Wales, but have borrowed Manon's in the interim and she has promised she will send photos via CD - at which point I will upload onto here.
