Pooce wanted to show Grandma her dot dot finger...

So, here we are Grandma, what d'ya think of that? Plaster had to be taken off before bed because she couldn't suck her fingers properly.

There's no-one quite like ......

Allez les rouges ...

Pooce's old Activity Hoop has been retrieved from the garage for Kootcha to sit in - he can just about resist gravity for a nanosecond. For old times' sake Pooce squeezed into it too - today she's wearing her patriotic Wales jersey as Wales play France in about two hours at the Millenium Stadium - pictured below on my (very scenic) walk home from work last week. The bottom picture is my cell at work where I'm finishing stuff off before leaving - it measures about 2 metres square, has no windows & the walls are quite soft.

No really, I have ....

quit, that is (apparently you thought I was joking). It was one of my birthday resolutions (see Dec 18th post). Portfolio working is the future (it said so in yesterday's Guardian) and so I'm giving it a go. First up, I'm taking on a few temping jobs, then maybe next year mixing it up with a bit more astronaut training, and then in a few years doing a whole load of different things. It suits my short attention span & inability to do as I'm told for very long.

Pooce has started Welsh nursery (this is the St David's Day singalong)

Pooce fell over (again) and wanted to show her swollen lip ...

Blob's Log: Stardate Wednesday (timewarp)

Did you notice that seamless transition? Tuesday ... Wednesday (with just a two week gap inbetween). Kootcha was ill, then Pooce tried the "start the day at 4am" thing, so then we didn't sleep, and then I quit my job. So blogging fell off the bottom of the list.

But now, Team B'dom having been narrowly averted, Team A are back in their glorious silver (metaphorical) spacesuits. Better go and find the camera ...

Blob's Log: Stardate Tuesday

Ok, so spring is finally sprunging in our garden this morning ...
... and then I take Pooce to nursery and find these pictures on display. Pooce with undisclosed caucasian male, approximately two years of age, medium build, in need of watching his step.

Blob's Log: Stardate Sunday

It's wet & windy in Cardiff today, so to brighten up this space here's some pictures from last week's expedition:

Here's grandadBlob showing Pooce some pictures of his space travel ....

Pooce found she was a natural ping-ponger - it was light when she started playing (against cousinLois) ......

and dark by the time she finished (against cousinDan).

and Lesley (chief entertainer & nutritionist- Derbyshire Training Facility) did Team A proud all week.

Blob's Log: Stardate Saturday

T plus 12 weeks. I'm seizing the initiative and starting my blog-week today (Pooce & Kootcha are asleep upstairs and Speedy's hitting the town with her NCT mum's group). These two pictures are a good backdrop to my week - Buzz Aldrin on the Apollo 11 moonwalk, and Bruce Springsteen being a dude. I was going to write that these guys are my heroes, but in reality I just wish it was me standing there in the spacesuit / waistcoat.

History repeats ...

Speedy and Pooce braved the Cat and Fiddle crossing to visit Macc(lesfield), home of Speedy's best bud Magsie and her children. Speedy & Magsie caught up on all the gossip and watched history repeat itself as their kids sat together eating biscuits, talking rubbish and watching boys (swimming lessons in this case).

Merci

Thanks ol' Vic. Look at me in my cool French outfit! And Pooce says thanks for her train puzzle too. xxx
